  1. Significant knowledge of disability insurance products, including Individual Disability, Overhead Income, Buy Sell and Key Person policies.

  2. Has a thorough understanding of historical events in the disability insurance industry over the past 30 years.

  3. Successful experience with a large number of disability insurance claims.

  4. Helps you develop an overall claim strategy to properly and accurately position your claim with insurance carriers and is able to explain insurance terminology.

  9. Has phone and fax service 24/7 and returns phone calls in reasonably short time periods.  Is available by email and cell phone on daily basis.

  10. As an expert witness, has an impressive background and CV.

  11. Is courteous, considerate and understands that a disabling condition and a resulting total or partial disability is a frightening time for anyone.

  12. Has published articles on various disability insurance subjects including claims.

  13. Is a moderator and guest speaker at Continuing Education & classes, and seminars for insurance agents and financial planners.

  14. Is well known within the insurance and financial planning industries.

  15. Has helped insurance companies with design and implementation of disability    insurance  portfolio and product changes.

  16. Has active membership in local, regional and national industry organizations.

  17. Conveys knowledge, honesty, confidentiality and trust.

  18. Continues learning through attendance at insurance claims seminars, litigation   and other legal conferences  and disability insurance research and marketing  symposiums.

  19. Has a long-standing history of significant service to his industry and has been recognized   by that industry as a source of knowledge and expertise.
